I was at this website a couple weeks ago that let you enter your grades, and then showed a list of high school students with similar grades to yours, and showed what colleges they got accepted to and rejected from. I can't remember the name of the website now...anyone know what I'm talking about?

Especially the one in Paterson? I want to go there & become a buyer. They seem to have the best program outside of a huge city. I'm a little scared of moving to a big city like New York just yet.

Anyone with experience tell me what they think of their program: http://www.berkeleycollege.edu/Academics/Programs/Descriptions/BS/BS_FashionMarketing.htm

If this link doesn't work: http://www.berkeleycollege.edu/ - click on academics and then bachelor degrees. The program is under Fashion Marketing and Management.

why does it seem to me that the coursework at private colleges is easier than from a public (state) college?
I've taken courses at both, and the work seemed easier to me at the private college.
Does anyone agree?

I got my undergraduate degree at GW in DC (they operate on a 4.0 scale- nothing weighted, no way to get above a 4.0) and I am now studying in the UK and applying for jobs, but many employers don't accept or understand my GPA. I've been told that it is about a 2:1 equivalent, but I have no idea what that really means.

How would you translate a 3.4 GPA? What does 2:1 mean?

Any other helpful helpful hints/sites you have on turning an American resume into a British CV are welcome!

I'd love to work in either marketing or public relations/communications, but I'm having such a hard time deciding which one I should pick for grad school. Job growth for both disciplines is expected to grow tremendously in the next 10-20 years.

Any suggestions on how to come to a decision? Application deadline for grad school is drawing near. Thx!
