yeah, ok USC is good at football...WOW! I went to college for academics like most of the country. I can't stand all this love for USC when UCLA is obviously academically superior (anyone who argues against this point must be chasing pipe dreams). Plus, UCLA sits in beautiful Westwood and right accross the street from USC (literally 'right accross the street') is the ghetto! This state needs to get its priorities straight- are we looking to promote football in LA or do we want our youth to go to the better school.

PS- UCLA does have 11 basketball championships (USC has none) and 99 NCAA championships (the most in the country)

Just wondering... for the people who've taken the Computer Based GRE test in Canada in the past , how long did it take for the results to be mailed to your house (and to the Universities?) Also, do they grade the test in Canada?

I'm just wondering what other university cafeterias are like. I'm thinking mainly of the one connected to the dormitories / residences for students who live on campus.

My university contracted food services out to Chartwell's. I'm actually really impressed with the quality of the food. There are usually two meat-based choices for entrees and one vegetarian choice. Those are based on a nightly theme. Then there is a salad bar, pizza bar, pasta bar and burger bar that serves the same things every day.

The not-so-great would include the dessert selection (your choice of like, two cookies), the bland pastries and the fact that they stop serving hot food at 7:30 pm (I think it should be open until at least 9:00). The prices are also REALLY expensive; I'm glad my on-campus studio apartment has a kitchen! A typical dinner with the daily special meat, grain and veggies would cost about $7 US ($9 Canadian).

How's the food service at your school?

He is a famous French psychoanalyst. Someone told me that one of his theories is that the camera distorts the person or object being photographed, and then when someone views the finished product, the photograph, then they distort it also. It was supposed to be either in a famous book by Lacan or an essay by him. Thanks for your help.

The topic says it all. I'm kinda worried, because I look forward to attending Baylor for my future Medical career, and I am wondering whether being Christian is a requirement, or if I won't fit in if I'm not Christian.

I am considering majoring in accounting and economics, but my school offers two seperate degrees for the afformentioned subjects. I am already a junior and majoring in accounting, and I hope to become a CPA. Getting an extra degree in economics will take me one additional year of schooling, but I love the analytical skills gained by getting a degree in economics. How will an additional degree in economics help or hurt my chances of becoming a CPA at a big four firm? Will a CPA firm frown upon the additional year of schooling? If I become a five year student, when should I apply for internships?

I am currently a freshman in highschool, and I have always wanted to become a pediatrician. However, I need some more information to help me to decide if it is right for me. What classes should I be taking? I am a freshman and am currently taking:
honors english and history
algebra 2
biology
spanish

If I continue on this track, is it good enough for me to get into medical school/college/etc??
Also, what are the pros and cons? What is the average salary?
If there are any pediatricians reading this, has your expereince been fulfilling?
Thank you for your time!
