Especially the one in Paterson? I want to go there & become a buyer. They seem to have the best program outside of a huge city. I'm a little scared of moving to a big city like New York just yet.
Anyone with experience tell me what they think of their program: http://www.berkeleycollege.edu/Academics/Programs/Descriptions/BS/BS_FashionMarketing.htm
If this link doesn't work: http://www.berkeleycollege.edu/ - click on academics and then bachelor degrees. The program is under Fashion Marketing and Management.

I think I'm pretty good at picking out outfits for people and putting new things together and I read a lot of fashion magazines and books. I've been watching Project Runway, though, and it seems like sometimes, I totally disagree with all the judges. I know it's art so people will have different preferences, but as a buyer who will buy for an entire customer base, it worries me when I disagree with established designers and magazine journalists. I am trying to learn as much as possible about designers and trends from different decades but it's so overwhelming. What kind of stuff is expected of me when I go to school? Anything in particular? Should I go in having a lot of knowledge about designers or fashion lingo or fashions of different decades and countries?? HELP
