Does anyone have information about careers of MSN nurses?

The hospital where I worked had a couple MSN-degreed nurses. They were more inline for managment and teaching, instead of hands-on patient care. But, this was the L&D floor. Also, some fields (nurse anasethsist or nurse practitioner) will often require a graduate degree to work there.
