I get fairly good grades, As and Bs with the occasional C, but I did no extracurricular activities my freshman year (I'm a soph now). Another bad thing is I have no passion and have remained consistent with nothing. Will colleges still take me if I improve myself and work hard on my grades and join clubs?

The college I attend is considering banning smoking on campus. The current smoking policy maintains that students cannot smoke in buildings or within 30 feet of entryways. However, they are considering changing to no smoking on sidewalks or any streets owned by the university rather than the city. I don't smoke, but I do have mixed feelings about it. I don't mind walking around people that are smoking. If I'm behind a smoker, I speed up and walk around them. If I pass someone as they blow out a puff of smoke, I hold my breath for a few steps. But I don't like the areas around some buildings were smokers congregate, the ones that, even when no one's there, still smell like smoke. There's no way to avoid the smell. I know that if I were a smoker, I wouldn't want have to leave camous just to smoke. I definitely see many positives and negatives to the change, what do you think?

The U.S. population in 1990 was approximately 250 million, and the average growth
rate for the past 30 years gives a doubling time of 66 years. The above formula for the
United States then becomes
P (in millions) = 250 times 2( y-1990)/66

What will the population of the United States be in 2025 if this
growth rate continues?

I go to a community college. Typically in a community college, there is not a whole lot of students in a classroom. However, in my Alegbra class in my college, there is about 60 students in this class. This class meets four times a week for only 50 mintues. The problem is that the students in the back of the room are very loud .The majority of the class sits in the back. In the back of the room, thestudents talk to their neighbors and sometimes their cell phones go off during class.I sit in the front of the room which is more quiet and the students seldom talk in the front. The professor told the students several times to be quiet. She told them to be quiet or leave the classroom. The students do not listen and they still are noisy. The professor is good in her field. This effects me because I have a learning disablity in math and math comes very hard to me. I can tolerate nosies in other classes. However, not in this one. Should I report the professor even though she is good at math?
