I just enrolled in college. I calculated it out and will end up being a December graduate. There is no way I can take more classes to finish sooner in the year. Is December a bad time to graduate and be looking for employment? Should I stretch out my schooling so I graduate in March?

I plan on taking classes year round. The college I am attending has graduation every quarter so I won't miss out. I will be 34 when I graduate so I think I will skip the ceremony anyway.

why? just graduate when you can! I'm sure they will let you walk with the other graduates in the spring. Just think as that last semester before as a good break or a jumpstart on a job.

Any time is a good time to graduate.

Start your search now. With holidays at the end of November and December & lots of people travelling and taking vacations, December isn't a great time to look for a job. The good news is that if you don't have anything by graduation, January is usually a very good time to search for work.

It's not a bad thing to be a December graduate. Job opportunities will depend alot on what you are studying. You might have to find a temporary job until one opens that is in your field, but look at it as experience. Good luck with your studies and your job hunt!

Any time is a good time to graduate. You won't be lacking any less opportunities than other people. Did you include the summer semester/quarter into your equation?
