i am planning to do my masters in finance. does it have maths as its subject if i am doing ? or is it really important that my maths should b great if i want to do this ? plz help .............any one doing.

I am a first year college student. I have been in honors for every subject except for math. My verbal IQ is 148... how can that be and I can't do simple algebra??

The only reason to stay is my family and they are all moving along with there lives but I would really miss them, but if I stay here I might not experience independence. Has anyone moved to unniversity or could share there advice and experience, that would be helpful. Also I'm not being kicked out it would be my choice to leave.

I've always wanted to go to Biola University, but I've really gotten sick and tired of Los Angeles over the years, and doubt that I'd be able to live there for four years w/o losing my sanity. So I'm on the hunt again! I'm looking for a evangelical Christian university on the same level as Biola. I want to major in either English or filmmaking, so I'd obviously prefer a school with respected programs in those two areas. I also REALLY wanted to be a part of Biola's Torrey Honors Institute, so a school with a similar program would be wonderful.

I'd really appreciate it if alumni could speak from experience! Thanks!

By the way, I live in California and don't want to go too far from home.

guys i want to go to law school, i think...But here's the prob...i would like to know what kind of laywers are there? like i dont wnt to be a court laywer or anything of that sorts...i wanted to study international law, but since it's not necessarily bindings some teachers told me it's not real law and not to waste my time...i would really love some advice...i'm mostly attracted to anything concerning human rights, ethics and humanity...and so on...please adive will so help me here!

Should I go to a school that I dont have to pay for the tuition but its about 30 minutes from my house. This school doesnt offer my major.
Or
Should I go to a school that offers my major but its in another state and I would only have to get a $1,000 loan. Which I dont mind paying only during my first year there.

I am currently a Master's Student in the Field of Communication Studies. I am interested in getting my Ph.D. but was wondering if I should stick to Communication or branch out into business or education. I would like to eventally do Management consulting, leadership, or diversity training. What I would like to know is what are companies looking for? What would you have done if you could go back and choose any field of study? Would study abroad be a better choice for today's globalized world, or should I concentrate on somehting else for today's market? I am just looking for advice. Thanks in advance for you thoughts! :)

I have a 2.6 GPA and a double major Chemcial Engineering and Economics. I have done 2 interships with notable compaines (Honeywell, Pfizer), and done 3 years of lab research dealing with polymer diffusion, polymer kenitics, and Industrial Applications for one of my professors. GPA is low due to family issues and I had to pay my way through school. I now have about 30K saved up so I can focus on Grad School full time if I get in. Can I get into a graduate school for either Engineering or Business?

my bf just graduated from HS and i want him to go to college & get a degree i was lookin into IT for him but it seems like most of these jobs arent really gettin anywhere or are they? he's willing to go to school for about 2 - 3 years and doesnt really like science so the medical field is out. could u think of anything that might be interesting, short, and have good pay with lots of jobs available?? thanks!
