guys i want to go to law school, i think...But here's the prob...i would like to know what kind of laywers are there? like i dont wnt to be a court laywer or anything of that sorts...i wanted to study international law, but since it's not necessarily bindings some teachers told me it's not real law and not to waste my time...i would really love some advice...i'm mostly attracted to anything concerning human rights, ethics and humanity...and so on...please adive will so help me here!

International law is going to be hot in the next few decades. I would suggest it if you are fluent in two or more languages.

not all lawyers are trial lawyers.

and whoeved said that international law isn't binding never tried to patent something outside the US.

It is not overally important to focus on international law. The previous comment refered to patents outside the US. US attorney's would, in most cases, not be applying for patents from the US. Those cases are many times outsourced to a british firm in London, when the patent is applied for in England.
I would suggest focusing on public services, and constitutional law first.

litigation in international law is going to be big.. and litigation is what you do in court.. otherwise you push papers and stuff like that

aim for a state or county position. my friends who are employed by the state and county (los angeles,ca) make pretty good money and get all the holidays off....private sector, you work your *** off, and have no life but get paid very well.....
