The SAT is the Scholastic Aptitude Test. It supposedly predicts how well a high school student will perform in college.

Those tests are taken by people in high school. The scores are submitted to colleges as part of your entrance package. It does cost money to take the tests and if you want to do really well you can also pay to take a prep course. Most prestigous universities require this test, which is very difficult. It covers things like math, english & science. It is a standardized test, multiple choice and you fill out an answer sheet. Except i heard lately they added an essay-writing part.

SAT's stands for Scholastic Apptitude Tests and there are two sections, math and verbal. You will take a seperate test for each section and the scores will be combined for a total score. Then your scores will be sent away for colleges to review and they contribute to whether or not you will get into college.
