I am working on second master's degree in Education. But, I want to pick up a third degree (second BA/ third MA in Philosophy or English) for personal fulfillment.

And then I'd like to pursue a fourth degree (dual/joint degree PhD in Journalism/JD in Law or MA in Journalism/JD in Law). I love going to school because of the intellectual and social environment that it provides. Can too much education be a bad idea?

I am an chinese just immigrated from China about one year. However, my cousin who growed up here, and graduated from UC Berkeley, she strongly suggest me to apply for UC, but I know that there are some requirements for getting into UC, which I do not have. A few weeks ago, I have contacted UC SC and LA, they told me they will consider my transcripts from both school.

I am confused whether to apply or just go to community college first(my counselor suggests to do this way)?

I am going to attend a college that is close to home but now I feel that I have made a mistake. I had the oppoortunity to go off to college but my fear of leaving my family made me stay. Now that I want to go to a far away college it is too late, I would have to transfer, but I also don't want to deal with the hassle of transferring, its like the whole college process again.
