Does anyone know how to apply for college? My councelor is in the hospital and i am left in the dark. Please help me.

first you have to choose the colleges which you want to apply to. try going to http://www.collegeboard.com or http://www.princetonreview.com because they usually have surveys that you can fill out based on what you like and what you are looking for in a college and what you want to study to help you narrow it down. then once you have chosen several colleges which you think you would be interested in, you might want to set up some dates to take tours or set up interviews with the admissions offices. if you like the schools then apply. you can usually pick up applications at the school themselves (if you visit) or you can download them from the college's websites or many schools accept the common app which you can find at http://www.commonapp.org (i think thats right)

You can go to the college website and request an application to be sent to your home or download it straight from the website. If the colleges you are planning to apply to use the Common Application, it would be much easier for you to just do that and then use it for all the colleges on your list. Just search for Common App to find the website and check if your schools will accept it, many do.

go to the college website and apply online, or some have a thing to give them yoru adress and they send you an information package, or call the college you want to apply to and ask them to send you a package, its fairly simple, its jsut time consumign and takes a little bit of effort, good luck tho, its a *****

Contact the schools you are wanting to apply to, directly...they will be able to send you the necessary admission forms..I am in Canada and all we have is one form where you can fill in 3 schools you want to apply to, maybe this applies where you live...Good luck

go to the website of whatever college you want to apply to. just type the name in 'yahoo' and you can usually find the site. there is bound to be instructions for application on the site. good luck!

Well, you can ask friend, relatives, neighbors, etc. You can call a local college and speak to the Admitting Office. They will help you through the process.

you just pick up an application attatch your letter of recomendation and the essays that they require. make sure you mail it in before the deadlines of the specific university you want. if your talking about comunity college you just go fill out an application and you in.

your school might have another counsellor on their team so if one is gone, students are usually assigned to another one!!
you can go to http://www.commonapp.org/ and apply for many colleges with just one application!
