Which location for IU?

Typically, it's at least a 2.0 to even be considered. For in-state residents, you must rank in the upper half of you graduating class. This ranking is typically found on your transcript. If you need to know this number, call your guidance office during the school year.

Other admissions criteria:

I.E. for Bloomington:

Edit: In a class of 339 students, you need to be ranked as number 68 or higher to be considered in the top 20% of GPAs. I cannot tell you your ranking just knowing your current GPA. Your guidance office will have this information. Sorry I can't be of more help there!

There doesn't seem to be a GPA requirement, but here's what I found:

Requirements to Enroll to Pursue a Degree
Students must have graduated from an Indiana high school or comparable out-of-state institution or have taken the GED. GED test takers may apply for unconditional admission with a score of at least 62.
Students should rank in the upper half of their high school class.
SAT or ACT scores must meet the national average of other test takers. Students who have been out of high school for three or more years are not required to submit SAT or ACT scores.
If you do not meet the above criteria, you may be eligible for conditional admission. Please contact us for more details.
Students must submit an Application for Admission with $30 application fee.
High school guidance counselors need to complete a Supplemental Academic Information Form and return it to the Admissions Office
