I got accepted to a public out-of-state state university. My parents were told by an adviser that the % need is low so it will be really expensive for me. We will be getting financial aid and loans as well as some scholarships and grants. Our income is around 80,000 per year (I think). I will have no problem paying back any loans, considering I am going to an elite school for the major I am going into. What do you think? Can I get enough loans to cover if we can't pay even with the scholarships, etc.?

I've heard that there are actual companies that are willing to pay for someone's college expenses, though in return -- after they graduate, that person will have to work for them for a certain amount of years. It's some kind of agreement. Does anyone know of any companies that do this?

I have to put in their tax information on the FAFSA form because technically I live with them (even though I live at my boyfriends apt.). I have been going to a community college and working many hours in order to pay for it out of my pocket. Now that the 2 year school is over, I am transfering to a 4year University, but I don't know how I will afford it when I don't think I am eligable for financial aid because of my parents tax situation? HELP!! =(

This girl I know just got her grant money and dropped out of school. She has been using the government and any kind of financial assistance for anything for as long as I've known her. She has been struggling with a crack addiction and last year she gave her kids away so that she wouldn't lose them. A neighbor of ours took her in and she has been using him ever since. She is still collecting child support and is claiming her kids on her taxes even though she didn't have them. Just recently she got her grant money for this semester and then dropped out of school. This is so messed up. I have to work and take care of my family and go to school, which I have pay for cuz I am married, but she is pretending her kids are with her and she is single to get financial aid. Is there any way I can report her for this cuz I am tired of working my *** off and watching her give her responsibilities away and yet still collect the cash and get away with it.

Hi. I'm currently a 3D Animation Grad student in San Francisco. After I came here, I realized how expensive it is to live in this city + pay tuition. I've been looking for any scholarships or financial aid but they're all for citizens, not international students. Finally, I've decided to ask Yahoo Answers.

So, Yahoo Answers, tell me; where can I find a scholarship or financial aid that's given to international students?

I am hoping for a full scholarship from the university I plan to attend, and I have a good chance at it. So here is my question: What will happen if I want to major in two or more areas? Will the full scholarship cover both majors? Thank you for your help!
