EFC jumped from 450 to 1050?
Last year I earned 7k a year this year a little over 9.5 k

My EFC hired 600 points. Should I worry.

With a EFC of 450 I only got 1800 dollars of my 2100 tuiton, then again i applied late. Should i worry is that 600 point diffrence gonna affect my grant money?

Yes, it could possibly effect the grant money. Part of the EFC is based on both family income and financial resources. It probably adjusts for inflation, but an increase that is more than inflation tends to effect the EFC. However, it might be an idea to look for some outside scholarships to lessen the bite.

First, the college's financial aid office and website has a list of private scholarships offered from outside organizations and companies.

Second, the public library has a book listing scholarships with some not even listed on the web.

Finally, I recommend joining several free membership scholarship search websites. Most are updated on a regular basis. Most offer a customized search based on information entered onto a form on the website.

Good luck!
