My father already filled the FAFSA out and submitted it. I'm just a bit worried because for a couple of areas he left blank, not even a "0". Is this going to be a major problem?

I do not have very good credit. Also, I would work but Im in school Monday-Friday from 8:30-5:00pm. WHAT CAN I DO?!

I'm a pharmaceutical science student studying in Asia. I'd like to work as pharmacist in the US after I graduated. What do I have to do to be able to work there? Also, I'm thinking about studying Master degree in the US. How much will it cost me? and is there any opportunities for me to get help for tuition from any organisations?

I am a 37 yr old single, childless female, who makes under 20K at this time, and I'm going back to school this fall for a graduate degree to be a librarian at a state university. I would like to know if anyone out there knows of any reliable websites or any specific grants or scholarships for librarians and/or graduates students who are women.
Thanks for any input :)

Because of matriculation fees and such, it will cost over $500 for just one class. When I took all the rest of my classes, 12-15 hours at a time the total fees were around $900 a semester. I understand why it's more expensive(per hour) to take just one class, but I don't have an extra $500 since I'm going to have to work less whilst in school.

Hi, I am a student in my first year of university and i was wondering whether any of you insightful people could help with my concerns about money. I have a student loan that gets paid in every term, but it only works out that i live off of about sixty pounds a week. This has to pay for food, gas, electricity, rent and travel expenses to and from university every day. It does not allow me to purchase the books and equipment that I am required to get, and I am unable to get a job as my timetable does not allow this. I am unsure of whether you are able to claim dole money if you are a student struggling and I dont think I meet the criteria needed for getting a grant, as my parents both work( I cannot sponge off of them however). Any advice? Thanks

I went back to school to achieve my dream of going to medical school. Unfortunately, this path has put me in great financial debt. My husband and I are $99,000 in debt! This is even before medical school. I have gotten into school, which will be an additional $82,000. What should I do? Should I forget the loans for right now and pay what we can afford and then pay a lot off when I graduate and start making money, or should we struggle even more to pay $600-1,000/month while I am in school.

If you sumbit a FAFSA application online but have to mail in the signatures, would that still count as being within the deadline for a school or would that be a complete FAFSA with signatures by the due date?

I am currenty attending school full time and taking care of my baby girl. I am not working. I am declared as a independent student and my family contribution to the FAFSA is zero. I started receiving money from the PELL grant in June of 2006. The PELL grant was my only source of income last year. Now that it is tax time, I need to know if I am supposed to file that money on my tax return? Am I supposed to report that money as income?

Ok. So, I filled out a scholarship packet and wrote a good personal statement to go with it. I had confidence that I might be one of the winners. So, yesterday, my sister was in a hurry and I was rushed - so I gave her the packet and my papers to send it in the mail.

Now, I remember that I forgot to let my mom sign it. I don't even know if I signed it or not. - I answered everything and they have all my information.
Would this ruin my chances... I'm just like crying right now! ...

I know that I jinxed myself.

I applied for the Discover Card Tribute Scholarship - Do / does anyone know if it's possible for me to contact them in any way to let them know?
