Ok. So, I filled out a scholarship packet and wrote a good personal statement to go with it. I had confidence that I might be one of the winners. So, yesterday, my sister was in a hurry and I was rushed - so I gave her the packet and my papers to send it in the mail.

Now, I remember that I forgot to let my mom sign it. I don't even know if I signed it or not. - I answered everything and they have all my information.
Would this ruin my chances... I'm just like crying right now! ...

I know that I jinxed myself.

I applied for the Discover Card Tribute Scholarship - Do / does anyone know if it's possible for me to contact them in any way to let them know?

You might want to look through the information for the scholarship to find the contact information. You still might have a chance because if they like what you have to say and you look good on paper there is a possibility that they will contact you to get the rest of the information, but I would not count on it so get the contact information and ask them if you need to resubmit the entire thing or just the signatures.

Your SATs are low for elite colleges. It helps that you're black. evaluate some "ideas-blowing yet decrease than elite" colleges: Colgate college of Rochester Drop the "I grew to grow to be better environmentally unsleeping" line. It makes you appears like a naive doofus, or that you're an egotist fishing for compliments. "community provider harvesting maize" is yet another laugh-inducing line. Your journeys to Africa were about your human being ego, not about helping the "natives" in any major way. added "do not waste some time with Colgate??! Is like regarding toothpaste or something?" Colgate is an extremely selective college, ranked 18th contained in the country between "Liberal Arts colleges" (above the U. S. Naval Academy). The popularity cost is ~24%. sixty 5% of admitted scholars are contained in the proper 10% of their severe college. it really is not a college dummies can get into, or have even heard of.

if it's not signed then it's not official, can't you just print out another one or obtain a second copy somewhere. Note: you should always make copies of all official information for future reference. Good Luck

It depends...why did your mother need to sign it. Is it because you were underage?
