It is... not to plug the place I work for, but look into Franklin University, www.franklin.edu I thought that going to a college online looked awful, but Franklin is an online accredited school as well as a face to face school. In Ohio alone (where Franklin is located) there are many students that graduate and work at Fortune 500 companies. Franklin is not like Phoenix or Capella. I'm not sure what you plan on majoring in, but Franklin does mostly do business related degrees. Business Management, Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources, MIS, etc... check it out, if you have any questions let me know! It really is a great school.

Yes. More and more people are getting degrees online. University of Phoenix and Western Governors University are two fairly respectable examples of decent online schools. Check them out.

HOWEVER...

There is a distinct limitation to what you can and cannot learn. You are not going to get your Ph.D in economics and English literature there, that is for sure. And it can be difficult. You'll have to be very disciplined to make it work, and there is always the possiblity of technical problems.

It is also true that an online degree may not be as positive to some employers as a regular degree, but that is changing in some fields. The best thing you can do is do some major research on the subject before you make a decision.

yes but I would not suggest it.. I went to a college that had ON LINE only and right before graduation found out it wasn't accredited by the right people and I couldn't use it.. Univ. of Pheonix is currently being sued for many different things.. overcharging students, etc THEY also will not give you your excess aid (do a search for ?s on here and you will C all the problems). If it's a brick and mortar school, it's better like Penn State Univ. You can get an associates online or go to class..
