I am about to get married this weekend, both my soon to be husband and i will be attending school this fall we are both 21 how is filing as married on our FAFSA going to help?

bad news is it is not going to help but you have to file that way. The thing that sucks when you have to file married is that both of your incomes will be added together now and depending on your salary your fin. aid may be reduced. Good luck!

Once you are married, you include your spouse's income, not your parents'. Chances are your husband will make less than your parents, so you might be pleasantly surprised when you get your SAR back.
