Dear All,

I am a singapore citizen and I am really stress now as my wedding is coming nearer on 18/2/2007. What should I do?? I am short of cash of $6K. I tried to look for a lender but all of them are asking for fees (e,g, insurance fee, transfer fee etc...) which I cant afford to pay. I tried to apply for a bank loan from my country but they said that my salary is low. My income per annum is $22,500.00. I really need help. Is there any lender who can help me in this?? Any advice dear friends??

Doesn't her "Guidance Counselor" do that? I know " nothing about scholarships, but my Daughter will need financial aid for college. I wish I had answers, but it seems so vast of an area, without my knowledge. She is a H.S. senior. Straight A's, and wants to get a scholarship for a Pharmacy Program (since she was about 8 years old!) She always talked about that! Now it's time!

I am returning to school to get my associates and then my bacholers with plans on becoming a teacher. To ease the costs of this transition from full-time work to not working and going to school a friend suggested student loans.

I understand that these loans are typically not repaid until after school is finished - but what else? How much is usually borrowed? What about the interest rates? Are these intended to make up for a lack of income while going to school?

I'm very interested in hearing from people who have used student loans, and would appreciate any suggestions about where to look for a loan.

I am filling out the FAFSA and I am stuck about the section where they ask for my tax info.

I am currently 18 and just started a job 3 months ago, working part-time... I've earned a total of only about $1200.

Do I still have to file my taxes in order to fill out the FAFSA. I do however have my W-2, so is that enough...

Could someone please help me... I'm so confused!!!

The question asks:
Enter the student's parents' exemptions for 2006 (question 81):
This information may be on the following forms:

* IRS Form 1040 - line 6d;
* 1040A-line 6d; or
* 1040EZ

but my mom hasn't gone and had her taxes done yet so im not sure what to do about this question, or what exactly they're asking for =/

can anyone help me out?

My parents just completed and submitted the FAFSA online. Is there a chance that we'll receive the SAR before the 3 weeks stated for processing? Approximately how long does it normally take?

I'm a good student and I want to go to college but my family cannot afford it. I'm planning on being in college for many years, my goal is a Master's degree at the least. So would a loan or Financial aid be able to hold me that long or possibly for a higher degree? Would I have enough left over to live on?

What are ways to go back to school full-time?
Right now I am a part time student and I work full-time, but I'm thinking of going back full time in Fall 2007. Note I am 24 years old.

to school, your loan will then need to be repaid (don't know if that is only if you try to get a student loan or just enroll), will this still apply 10-143 years later as it was.

I was thinking of going back to school as my life is so poor but afraid I'll have to take this loan back on..who would know (besides bank)

I am 19 and just had a baby, but I want to go to college. I've heard about programs where the government will give grants and financial aid to single mom's for education. I have been searching the web for hours trying to find stuff, but I can't find anything. Can someone help please?
