I just withdrew from one of the classes because I fell behind because I am also working and trying to plan for a wedding. It has been busy. I don't get my money back, but it won't affect my G.P.A. I am kind of nervous to tell my fiance that I dropped the class since I am taking out loans and stuff. He knows that I am thinking about not taking classes next semester. I am not sure if Nursing is what I want to do. If you were my fiance, would this anger you that I dropped the class? Would you be dissapointed?
I feel kind of guilty.

I am 28 years old and I am interested in going back to school for a career in Nuclear Medicine as a Technologist. Is there any government programs out there that will support such a journey? I have heard of some who return to college and recieve grants for school and living expenses. Is this realistic? Any information will help..Thanks - Joe

I have been trying to look for any scholarships available that I could sign up for. I've already done the FAFSA and taken care of the Cal Grant, but I'm still looking for any type of free money. Please state any scholarships or grants that I could possibly find useful. Please list as many as possible.

Hi,
I am a type 1 diabetic and I have been since I was 13 months old. It is something therefore that was not brought upon myself by lack of taking care of myself. I attend school in Savannah, GA and I am wondering if there are any grants for diabetic students? If anyone has any advice or help to offer I would greatly appreciate it.

We co-signed for our daughter 's student loan through Bank-One. Once she graduated we thought we could consolidate these under one interest rate...however we are being told that these are 4 seperate loans and since they are private cannot be consolidted. We are presently making 4 payments each month. It seems like there's no light at the end of the tunnel. Does anyone have any suggestion other than "what a fool" ?.

So does anyone have any ideas on how to pay for med school other than loans and grants. I mean scholarships and free money in general. It never hurts to ask. Plus I don't want to be living like a bum for the next 4 years.

I'm having problems paying for college, as I have absolutely no money, and I'm only going to be 17 this year. My parents make a lot of money so I'm hardly eligible for financial aid that I know of, plus they're not giving me any of it or co-signing on student loans. Basically I can't get scholarships because my parents are rich, and I'm a white, non-disabled, atheist male with a 3.2 GPA and average SAT scores. Besides joining the military or something similar to that, what options are available to me to get money for college?

ok i am not trying to follow in the footsteps of my mother, she is on welfare, but for a good reason, she gets SSI, so she isnt able to work, so she gets welfare for me and my brother. i am going to college in the fall and im pretty sure i will get grants and what not to pay for college, but what about my other living expenses you know, i would work but i am gonna be going to school full time, 12 credit hrs is full time and i plan to do 14 or 15, why well i wanna be a psychiatrist and that takes tyically 12 years, i wanna shorten that as much as possible. should i ask for help or should i just stay the way i am and just live poor? i will be making a lot of money later on and all but im talking about right now. i would work but it will be nearly impossible dont you think, i am asking for advice so please dont say i am trying to work the system. Thanks
