I was 19 and i was not receiving financial aid, or going to school.. I am 21 now.

but quoting the fafsa website its says below...

Has the student been convicted for the possession or sale of illegal drugs for an offense that occurred while the student was receiving federal student aid (grants, loans, and/or work-study)?

Count only federal or state convictions for the possession or sale of illegal drugs if the offense occurred during a period of enrollment for which the student was receiving federal student aid (grants, loans, and/or work-study). Do not count convictions that have been removed from the student's record. Do not count convictions that occurred before the student turned 18, unless he/she was tried as an adult.
If the answer to this question is "Yes", you will be taken to a worksheet to help you determine if the conviction affects the student's eligibility for federal student aid.

I think that you would be ineligible....but you can always submit your application and see what they say (Of course, be upfront about the conviction, though).

Just out of curiosity, how did you consume the marijuana if you didn't have possession of it-I don't understand??
