she claimed me because i was a part time student while i stayed at her house but she did not pay for my tuition or other school related expenses is there any way i can have this changed

How much did you make..If it's under the minimun then let your mother claim you...it can help her but will have no effect on your tax return.

The thing is you were living with her. You can appeal it in writting if you so decide you want to go that route. But look at everything before you do so because you might be bitting the hand that feeds you

hello she might be eligible to claim that part but you should check with thr internal revenue to be sure
