im a senior and im not doing very well with my credits and im not doing so good in my government class.
and i really need to pass. im trying hard but this one class is too hard for me. so heres what i would like to ask.
will anybody help me with a current event?
i tried but i cant do it. im not really smart.
if theres any special people who are really nice that would like to do it for me, it would be very nice. =)

but if you dont feel like doing that, then give me something to write about and such.
i just need to do a one page article about a current event thats happening in america.

i have always been an A/B+ honor student but my first semester of college has been horrible. my parents have seperated after 30 yrs of marriage due to my dad having an affair and my mom has become very difficult to live with. this, along with a school i really do not enjoy and that lack of friends and family, my dogs are the only ones i have because all my friends are away at college, have made me very depressed. i've had a horrible lack of motivation for school and i just got my very first D as a final grade. Part of my thinks that i need to take a break from all the stress and bad stuff in my life so i can get myself together. i want to go live with my sister, who leaves in another state. but im so torn. i really dont want to go back to the school i hate and a mom i cant stand n e more. i really dont know what to do. i do plan to return to school if i take a semeser off because a degree means a lot to me. does anyone have any advice?

tell me honestly cause i dont know. Teachers complain about their salary a lot. But they get a good salary with benefits plus 3 months off.

I've been offered substantial scholarships (full tuition plus a few thousand per year) to all of these schools. Without these scholarships I would never have thought of going to any of them at all, but financial necessity and a mediocre GPA that will pretty much cripple my chances of getting merit scholrships at even the small liberal arts colleges I would much rather go to has forced me to seriously consider these state schools.
I want to major in English Lit/ Writing and Philosophy, and get the best education I can, which leads to my interest in the quality of these school's honors programs.

I don't care about a school's party scene nor the ranking of its football team.

So far for each school:
Nebraska: Already been accepted, but I'm not excited about it.
U Arizona: Submitted my app, will visit in March becasue they're giving me an nearly all-expense paid trip to visit for 2 days.
Arizona State: considering applying. They claim their Barret Honors College is really good.

well there are a couple things i want to know how much trouble i would get in for doing them
1. stealing your teachers lighter
2. setting stuff on fire with the lighter
3. stealing all of your teachers answer keys
and stuff like that
no i have not done any of the above but me and some friends are thincking of a prank to play on one of our teachers and i do not want to be kicked out of school agian and no no one will get hurt during the prank

why not say this:
Le professeur donne les devoirs tres difficiles.

The top sentence is from my french text book called "et vous" and the second is what I am asking.

de + le = du
de + la = de la
de + l' = de l'
de + les = des

but the is used to indicate possession is the examples in my book. what else is des used for in the sentences i stated on top.
