it really depends on the school, they're all different.... i know at my old school you would most likely be suspended.

You will definitely get expelled.

Stealing the teacher's lighter depends on the school and the teacher, and especially depends on whether you get caught.

Stealing the answer keys will depend on the teacher, you'll at least fail the class... and anyway once s/he sees it's missing, s/he'll just change the test answers around so that the key won't help you, and so using the key will incriminate you.

Lighting fires in school is a seriously bad choice. I can't imagine a school in which you wouldn't get expelled for that, plus getting entirely too much police attention.

Think of a better prank.

For example, you could give her a "present", a big cardboard box with no name on it, wrapped prettily and sitting on her desk. Make sure Nobody, not even your friends, knows that you are the giver of this present. Of course, you've packed the box full of snow.

She'll exclaim happily over the present, put it on or in her desk, the snow will melt, and the "present" will become a soggy mess and ruin all her papers etc. Do it right and you won't get caught.

Good luck!

1. Stealing is a crime. You'll at least get detention.
2. That's arson, and also a crime. You'll probably be suspended or at least get a pile of detention
3. If by answer keys you mean answers to a test, probably only detention, depending on how important the test is. If you just mean keys as in keys for locks, then probably just detention.
But you know what would be a really good idea? To tell your friends that it's a dumb idea and that if you want to pull a prank on someone, do it to someone who can't suspend you or get you in trouble.
Like tourists. That's always fun.

well, one thing's for sure, you will probably go to jail since you have a history of trouble. in the school system where my son goes, the lighter is considered a weapon due to the burn factor. you will get thrown out of school, you can bet on it! and, if they have zero tolerance there, it will probably be all year and/or you will get to go to the alternative school. setting stuff on fire is destruction of school property - over a certain dollar amount is a felony. you will probably go to Juvenile Detention for that. what you are describing is not a prank, but rather a really bad idea for a stupid crime that can haunt you your entire life. Maybe you better think twice about this.

i would say the least trouble would be 1
if you set stuff on fire depending on how strict you school is you could get the law involved which would be a lot worse
and then on the last i had a friend that did that like 10 years ago and got expelled i would say take a look at this websites and my nieces didn't do this but his been thinking about it here are the website below

Stealing is a crime and the teacher might take it to the police and you may get charged and will go on your school record.Being an accessory after the act will land you into major trouble too.

you will get into trouble for all of the above, but you will get expelled if you set stuff on fire and for the answer keys, prob. a suspension, and do not steal your teachers lighter i'm not sure how they will take that one

That doesn't sound like a prank,it sounds like a story on the evening news about how teenage kids crave attention, especially from stupid, dangerous shenanigans.

Stealing and destroying property can get you expelled and land your butts in juvenile detention. Taking someones belongings and/or destroying them is not a "prank" it is childish and can get you in big trouble.

I believe #2 and #3 would be reason enough to expel you from school.
