i`m a sophomore right now, and im planning to take a vocational high school next year and my senior year.
* i`m planning to be an RN.

by my senior year, i would have my HS diploma, a certification
or CNA ( certified nursing assistant) and college credits..

after my senior year, i`m planning to go to a community college
to finish my associates degree..

after i earned my associates degree, can i still go or transfer to a university to earn my bachelor's?

I need to make a creative slogan for the use of Aluminum, sort of to advertise the element.

An example (for arsenic)

Arsenic's a sure fire way to deal with a nasty rat
It works better than a mean old cat!

The slogan should rhyme and should be 1-2 lines please. It has to pertain to advertising the element, for it's use.

Thanks and best slogan gets 10 points!


P.S. I was working on a slogan but I need a word for rhyme that will pertain to the topic. Here's my idea:

Line 1: Are You Thirsty..............a word ending in -an
Line 2: Why not try a drink from an aluminum can

If you could finish that one off for it to make sense, that'd also be well appreciated.

I will be transferring out of my community college next year to complete a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering. I will have 70 credits but don't meet the requirements for an associates degree because I haven't taken a "cultural awareness" class. It sounds like a waste of time and money to me. I was wondering if there is any benefit in having an associates degree that would justify taking this class.

I recently enrolled at a community college in southern cali where i live and i am going to be taking a math class that says3 units , an english class that says 4 units and a spanish class that says 5 units... im going to apply for financial aid on the app it says full time is atleast 12 credit hours in a term.... am i considered full time?

i know that most people apply for college early in their senior year but could i apply after 1 semester of my senior year or apply after i graduate for the next year so that my gpa will be higher? is this a bad idea

I remember reading a section of Hunter S. Thompson's "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" years ago. In it, Duke and his attorney attend a police convention. The truly misinformed cops tell their fellow officers that butts from joints are called "roaches" because of their resemblence to a cockroach!!! Although this explanation is indeed hilarious, it's an obvious untruth. So, that got me wondering where the slang "roach" originated! Anyone know for sure, and why did it end up with that name?!

...people mispronounce things?
I hate it when I hear people pronounce CRISPS as CRIPS its onomataepaeic for goodness sakes!
Or when people say PACIFIC instead of SPECIFIC!

seriously, i keep seeing this word 'troll' mentioned here on this site, i am new here but must admit i have no idea what this word means in the context it is used on here. (i thought trolls were creatures who live under bridges in fairytales) i'm not trying to be ignorant but it just confuses me when people use slang words etc instead of plain old english. All right I'm at Michigan State right now, and I want to transfer to University of Michigan because they have a better Computer Science program.

The thing is Michigan's requirements to transfer there is very competitive and there's a lot to do. Here's the requirements:

Also, Michigan State's Computer Science program, you do not have to take Chemistry, and you need 3 semesters of math. Michigan requires Chemistry and 4 semesters of math. And jeez, you need a frickin' 3.5 GPA to get in?! State's only 3.0!

I'm a freshman in my first semester. The thing is, I don't want to take courses that I don't need for Michigan State, what if I don't get my transfer? I would waste a course of Chemistry and a semester of math when I could be doing something else.
