you can transfer after one year. As for your credits transfering, that depends on the school you transfer to. Most likely, most of your credits will transfer, but you will probably have to take some classes over again at the school you transfer to because they have a particular curriculum they want you to learn. good luck.

You can transfer to any college that will accept you. Just remember that not all colleges accept ALL the credits you've earned at a different college. So check at the institution you will be transferring to, to find out what you can take at the community college that they will accept. A community college is a good way to save money and get all your basics out of the way.

The beauty of a community college is that you can sort of come and go as you please...the only thing is that you must make sure that your credits transfer to the university that you are planning on attending.

Pending good grades and being in good standing with your school, you can apply to a different school/university at any time. You just wouldn't want to leave in the middle of a semester. It is also wise to check to make sure the credits you earned will be eligible to transfer to your new school. That way you won't be losing time or money invested in your past courses.

Absolutely not, I did it, and transfer to John Jay College from Westchester Community College after one year. But do not forget to transfer your credits. For my case all my credits were accepted to JJ College and I did not waste anytime.

you can transfer after 1 year. I'm in a community college right now, finishing up my associates, if anything, I'm being smart by obtaining my associates for cheaper. You don't have to stay for 2 years though.

yep. i do believe it doesn't matter. just make sure that you apply as a transfer student, and make DOUBLE sure that all your credits will count at the university you want to go to.
however, in the state of Florida, if you complete 2 years, you are automatically accepted into any public university. so it kind of makes it worthwhile. i don't know if others states do that.
best of luck!

No, but it's cheaper and easier to finish the general education you need to get a degree in your area.of interest.
Then when you transfer you will already have an A.A. degree
and most of general education relating to your interest completed.
