I am currently pursuing Bsc in Mathematical Science and going for second major in Economics next year.

Is this a good platform to pursue a career in Acturial Science.

I will be writing my first exam P1 in May 2008.

With a double major in Math/Econ and passing atleast 1 exam, can I get an entry level job Acturial Job in Insurance company ?

Why do we now say "Impact" instead of "Effect". ? Last I heard is that bombs leave or cause an impact and sometimes teeth are impacted but most things that impact is now used for have an "EFFECT". Is this another "wannabe" word ?

10. 3b[SQRT(27a^5b)] + 2a[SQRT(3a^3b^3)]

I am currently a senior in high school and am considering a medical career. Next year, I'll be attending the University of Michigan College of Engineering. My wife and I are both pursuing our Master's degree. Since I'm full-time employed, and our only source of income, private schools seem or best and probably only option. We have an under 2 year old daughter, and wish to obtain our degrees before our family grows bigger and we both want to enroll in the same University. After doing some school shopping, we're debating between Strayer and Devry, and would like some input from graduates from both sides. Thanks.

I probably have about 24,000 out in subsidized and unsubsidized loans. I know want to just start over and go to a technical school for 23 months and get a license for radiology technology. Do you think there will be enough left for me to pay for the program and live off of? I am a single mom. Not sure if that matters as far as the amount I can borrow ultimately.
