My wife and I are both pursuing our Master's degree. Since I'm full-time employed, and our only source of income, private schools seem or best and probably only option. We have an under 2 year old daughter, and wish to obtain our degrees before our family grows bigger and we both want to enroll in the same University. After doing some school shopping, we're debating between Strayer and Devry, and would like some input from graduates from both sides. Thanks.

My wife is pursuing an MBA; I'm staying in an IT related field. I currently hold a Computer Systems Engineering Major, 2 Oracle Certifications and a RedHat Certiefied Engineering cert. We both obtained our degrees offshore. Personally, I'm not doing bad in the workplace, but we both want to proceed further academically speaking.

Neither is a good choice if you're trying to get the best education for the lowest cost. Depending on where you are, even online programs at some public out-of-state universities are going to be more affordable--and give you degrees with a far better reputation in the job market.

I'm going to drop links to GetEducated.com below. They provide lists of the most affordable reputable schools offering an MBA or a master's in computer science/IT.

Neither school will give you any advantage on the job market and would be a major waste of your money. These are for-profits, which are generally not very well respected. It isn't clear what you are trying to get your degree in or where you are located. How could we possibly give you any input.
