I highly doubt if there is such a thing as a "teacher's pet." I am a teacher, and I do have "star" students who always do an awesome job. They're not my pets, but I am sure that the other kids feel that they are my "favorites."
Ironically, all students have the opportunity to excel and shine, but many choose to be jealous and lazy.
EX: Why does Becky always get to get on the computer for free time?
Well, Becky always finishes her work, so she finishes early and has extra time for something else. It would be foolish for any teacher to punish a student for getting ahead.
Sorry for venting. . .
A teacher's pet is probably someone who gives 100% effort, and the jealous students are usually more interested in other things than school. They want everything, but they won't work for it.

No, not at all. The only thing that would be wrong with it is if you are doing non-academic stuff to get that attention. You'll find in college that being a teachers pet can take you a long way and get you out of some tight spots.

they simply will become instructors puppy because of the fact they simply opt for to be a clever *** just to teach off to all and sundry. they opt for to do it so as that they are able to easily have immediately A's on their checklist card and then merely enable the instructor say to their mum and dad in make certain conferences that he or she is doing a great interest in college and becomming an asset. later on, the lecturers pets get a advantages from their mum and dad like funds, tech, ipods, mp3, and different stuff they like. later on, they provide all of it up next 365 days.

Only if it leads to teacher doing illegal things with a minor.
Every class is going to have the kids that make teacher's life hell, and - if he's lucky - one or two that are bright, upbeat and like learning.

Nope. A hell of a lot easier than studying.
Just be careful if the teacher invites you home for some overnight cramming.

It is a great way to get on the god side of mean teachers, just as long as you don't over do it.

those kids are usually annoying as hell and they get special treatment. but it's not really the kids fault a lot of times, it's the teacher's.
i don't think favorism should be in the class room, but oh well.
it just makes the other kids angry and feel bad.
