in my humble opinion...

it means that people are quick to judge your religion based on theirs (and quickly find the differences) as opposed to apperciating the similarities in different religions and learning about different religions.

It means that people tend to only look at and point out the differences between religions and cultures, while the good part of studying and learning about cultures and religions is finding the similarities that these so called "different" people share.

'People eagerly fasten their eyes' means 'people are quick to pay attention and relate to'.
'difference between their own creed and yours' means 'the big and small differences between their religious views, attitudes and your religious views and attitudes'.
'the charm of the study' means 'the true meaning and importance of religion'.
'finding the agreements and identities in all the religions of humanity' means 'pay attention and relate and also celebrate the similarities, the joyous aspects in all religions and in all of mankind'.

If you put all the above together, it simply means :

Religion is a way of life and this way is significantly different from one individual or group to another. Even though it is so varied, we should remember that its true meaning and purpose is to celebrate our similarities as human beings, embrace and unify mankind and not to dwell and wage war on each other on the meagre differences in faiths and traditions.

Religion is diverse.
We should all try to find something similar that we agree on.
And cease the turmoil in argueing over what we think is wrong with the other.
