I took the GMAT today and earned a shocking 560. My practice scores usually ranged from 640-670, with verbal scores in scaled 40-42 points. I scored better in quantitative than in verbal today (wow, the irony). So yah, I'm dazed.
That being said, the average GMAT score of enrolled students in the Northeastern MS in accounting/MBA program is 580.The average GPA is 3.25. Northeastern is my first choice, and I also hoped to receive a scholarship upon acceptance. I have a GPA of 3.89 from a small college. Now that my chances of getting a scholarship (or an assistantship of some sort) are slim, I'm wondering if I could even get in.
I've sent in application materials already. I have no full-time work experience (although none is required for the program), but I have leadership experience and I'm engaged in various extracurricular activities. Do I retake the GMAT or hope for the best? Please advise me here...
