i really need one that i can write a 5 page paper on and i originaly choose how the human race is not the cause of global warming but i don't feel like i could write much and i wouldn't be that interested in it. so i just need some cool topics that has a lot of information and i could write 5 pages on it and it has to have some opposing views and stuff like that. thanks

My son is just refusing to follow the teachers directions. He is very nice and polite about it but we are at the end of our ropes. She uses a "red light" system for behavior and a treasure chest. Any ideas of things that "worked for you"? He has been on "red" almost everyday since the beginning

Hi, I'm moving to the Netherlands in February to live with my boyfriend. I am planning on attending college there, he lives in The Hague and I was hoping somebody knew of some good schools around there. I'm interested in teaching/writing/english. Also, since semesters won't really be starting until September, if I apply for a student visa, can I live there before the semester starts? I think I can be in the country for 3 months on my tourist visa, so that way I can look at the schools and then pick one. Can anyone help me?

I know there's a lot involved in moving, but I want to make sure I'm prepared and have all the paperwork and information that I need. Any advice?

Hello. I have been trying to solve this problem and I want to know if it is correct. I had to find the 1st derivative and 2nd derivative of √(2x)*sinx (the square root of 2x times sinx. using the 1st and 2nd derivative tests. I know that I have to use the product rule with the chain rule.

1st Derivative:
Step 1: √(2x)*sinx
Step 2: find udv + vdu

√(2x)(cosx) + (sinx)(2x)^-1/2 = f’(x) or
√(2x)cosx + (2x)^-1/2sinx

2nd Derivative:
Step 1: √(2x)cosx + (2x)^-1/2sinx
Step 2: find udv + vdu of √(2x)cosx
u= √(2x) v= cosx
du= (2x)-1/2 dv= - sinx
√(2x)(-sinx) + (cosx)(2x)^-1/2 or
-√(2x)sinx + (2x)-^1/2 cosx

Step 3: find udv + vdu of (2x)-1/2sinx

-½(2x)(-1/2)-1 * 2 chain rule


(2x)-1/2(cosx) + (sinx)(-(2x)-3/2) or

(2x)-1/2cosx + (-2x)-3/2sinx

Step 4: Put it together:

f"(x) = (√(2x)(-sinx) + (cosx)(2x)^-1/2) + ((2x)-1/2(cosx) + (sinx)(-(2x)^-3/2)

Any comments are appreciated, I just want to know if I did it right.

im in a sort of outreach program where we teach kids having a hard time understanding/catching up to classmates. they say that making all the activities games is the best way to catch their attention.

I disagree, since I can easily relate to kids. I can make great connections from their favorite shows or games to the lesson.

I never had education courses before though, so im not an expert. Should I listen to the moderator and make all the activities games, or should i use my strength as a child-at-heart, to woo these kids and help them understand using connections to games/cartoons/etc?
