There are different Number Systems used the world around throughout the ages. The Etruscan numerals were used by the ancient Etruscans. The system was adapted from the Greek Attic numerals and formed the inspiration for the later Roman numerals to name a few.

Many. Our counting/digit system uses Arabic numbers ("regular" numbers?). Integers are whole numbers. Real numbers are fractional. You have odd and even numbers. You have japanese and chinese numbers. You have binary numerals, octal, hex and so on.
