C for cat
D for Dog!!

oh cmon... u can use @$$ , b*tch , crap and dung respectively too!

it could be anything that tells u what letter are u talking about..

no STANDARDS as such

Don't know of a norm for spelling on the phone. The NATO radio alphabet is
Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, Golf, Hotel, India, Julie, Kilo, Lima, Mike, November, Oscar, Papa, Quebec, Romeo, Sierra, Tango, Uniform, Victor, Whiskey, X-ray, Yankee and Zulu.
They are unambiguous and they are the only standard I know.
