I have to respond to this writing prompt but i don't understand what it is asking when it refers to elevating language. The question is:

How does Orwell illustrate language's power to manipulate and/or elevate in Animal Farm?

What does this question mean when it asks about elevating language?

I am doing extra credit for algebra, and the assignment is to make a flipbook with an algebra term for each letter of the alphabet, it's definition, and a picture to go along with it.

Problem is, I cannot find any terms for the letters J, K,U, or Z .

If you could please help me find terms for these ltters, it would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, they don't have to be fancy... I have positive, negative, and whole numbers. (: soo whatever you can come up with!

thanks!

What do you think of this quote? Aside from relating it to the Rwandan Genocide, how is it relevant to today? How is it relevant to other problems in the world today? Do you think that those that do not help in times of need and stand around watching should be punished? Other thoughts? Comments? I expect your responses to be well developed and thoughtful.

I love history and psychology. I've decided I'd like to consider becoming a professor in one of these two disciplines. I'd like to know which one has a better job outlook (number of jobs available (supply) vs. number of people looking for jobs (demand)). And what kind of job security (tenure) can one expect?

I'm assuming psychology, just because of versatility (research probably pays more, you can treat patients, etc...), is more secure, but I'd like to get others opinions.

What issues are important to you?(still talking about class elections and issues in school here)
