2N2 + O2 = 2N2O
well,..it works kinda like math,..both side have to be balanced so if you hav only one ''O'' on the right,..so u need to make it two O, cuz there's two O on the left-hand side,..
so now u put a ''2'' infront of the right ''O''..so now the ''oxygen'' part is balance,..but the nitrogen is not balanced now,..on the left hand side you used have two ''N''..but when you put a 2 infront of the N2O..means u have two (N2) that means 2x2=4 nitrogen..on the right hand side,..
so now u also need 4 nitrogen on the left hand side so u put a 2 infront of N2..so both side are equal now!
N2 + 3H2 = 2NH3
....see if u can work out this urself!..good luck!

for N2 + O2 = N2O, you must put a two on the front like 2N2+O2= 2N2O because you have two O in the original problem so you must have two O in the answer. and that makes N become 4 so you must put a 2 in the original
for N2+H2= NH3, you must put a 2 in front of the answer NH3 and a 3 in front of H2, so it looks like this- N2+3H2= 2NH3 because in the original problem you had two N so in the answer you must have two N and when you add that 2, that makes six H in the answer so you have to put a 3 in front of H in the original so there is six there too.

N2 + half O = N2O
because you have 2 oxygens but you only need one.
half N2 + three halves H2 = NH3

You cannot create or destroy atoms in a chemical reaction. So everything must be accounted for, nothing missing or left over.
2N2 + O2 ↔ (2)N2O
N2 + 3H2 ↔ (2)NH3
