When taking an open book exam, is it against the rules to flag pages you know you'll need with a sticky note?

Shouldn't be. Go ahead and flag the pages, and if your teacher says you can't, you can always pull them out.

No. I thought open book meant you could bring in notes or books or anything that would provide information.
