Education & Reference - 9 October 2007

I would like to get into medical school...but what courses do I need in university? Can I get a bachelors degree in anything? Everyone who wants to be a doctor usually gets a degree in Biology...but isent it good to be diverse? Any recommendations? what science courses do I need to take, etc.? Do I need a Calculus course? And is a high school calculus course that is worth university credit good enough? And can you just explain everything? I do/did I need to take all three sciences in high school? (Chem, Bio, and Physics).

ok so i've just started a new school(public school which i HATE) and all the work is to easy. i actualy passed on a test i never even studied for. their giving very easy work( i mean geometry is simple!) i asked them if i could do college algerbra but they said no i wouldn't be able to do it(i did it when i was in private school!) i'm getting very easy work! i've actualy done all the work of before that the other kids did before i even started going to the school. and most of the classes i'm not even need to study and yet i'm still getting a perfect grade! what should i do to get them to let me do harder work?
by the way, i'm in 9th grade?

I got a long answer to one of my questions. The person said he had graduated from high school, yet his spelling was terrible as was his grammar and the answer was one whole paragraph without any punctuation at all.
He spelled school "skool" and used "in" everytime he meant "and".
I can't believe they let this guy graduate, although he said he was 46 so it must have been almost 30 years ago.
Have school standards gotten any better?

ok so im a freshman in highschool and ive always been a good student with averages in 93-95... math is still easy for me, global im doing fine but my english is doing terribly because we're doing poetry and my teacher doesnt liek what im writing. my family thinks my poems are great.... also for bilogy, ive never been good at science but this is just plainly bad right now. my quiz and test grades have topped out at 75.... i ahd a test today for which i studied 3 hours for yetsreday and im pretty sure i failed miserablky again... plz help... im very depressed now... i want to become either a doctor, or a business man not sure yet... what does biology have to od with that and same for poetry/literature?
