I got a long answer to one of my questions. The person said he had graduated from high school, yet his spelling was terrible as was his grammar and the answer was one whole paragraph without any punctuation at all.
He spelled school "skool" and used "in" everytime he meant "and".
I can't believe they let this guy graduate, although he said he was 46 so it must have been almost 30 years ago.
Have school standards gotten any better?

Actually, I haven't been taught grammar, spelling or punctuation much since 8th grade. In high school the focus is more on writing papers than on writing sentences.

No.....to graduate, you just need a certain amount of credits and also a GPA of 2 to graduate....that's basically getting C's in every class for all 4 years.

Calm down, don't take things so seriously. Some people do that and it's computer talk. Although, I use good spelling and punctuation. Just lighten up on it.
I do know what you mean, though.
