bring a bat with you...just kidding! If you don't feel comfortable, tell your parents that you have to go in early for an hour and that you dont feel comfortable with this teacher. If you show up for only a half hour tell him that you though he said a half hour or that you overslept. Keep you cell phone on you just in case and if worst comes to worst and he tries to make a move (ewww) but you scream and throw a fit, it doesnt matter what age u are no one is going to think you are a baby and there are soo many responsible adults in a school one of them would be bound to help. Please tell me how it goes and if this helped at all. Keep your guard up!! BE STRONG!! <3 Jen

Not all male teachers are bad. If he has made you feel uncomfortable before have your mother or father go with you. I would not just not go because that shows him you do not care, or do not want to try. Sometimes teachers tell you an hour before because they want to show you the homework and allow you to work on in class, and finish it with them there so if you need help you can ask. Has he done something to make you feel weird?? If he has please tell your parents or a counselor at school... Plus male teachers are not allowed by law to talk to you privately with the door closed, and or without another woman or male teacher present because of liability.

So can you kinda clarify is it the homework you have the problem with or the teacher?
Homework: Post a question and send it to the the masses - see if anyone can help. If it's vocabulary - can you ask one of your classmates what they did in the lesson that may help give you the idea what you need to do.
Teacher: One you have shown your homework and there's nothing left to do ask if you have finished (politely) and the head for the library or the loo or something

If this teacher told you that you couldn't bring anyone with you, yes, I would be suspicious in your position. Take someone with you anyway, and if he refuses to help you with the friend there, or to allow your friend in the room with you, report the incident to the principal or school counselor.

if you don't feel confortable let your parents know about the situation and have them come in with you. If you don't feel confortable telling them than don't do it. You should not be in a room with just a teacher. No exceptions. You would be putting yourself in a really bad position.

Hey there. I wouldn't even tempt it. At all. Don't get yourself into anything you don't have to. Tell him that it is absolutely impossible to come before school, and offer to come at lunch instead. Then, you can/probably will have a friend with you. If it gets strange at all, talk to your principal.

Let your parents know right away. They can explain to him that you do not feel comfortable with the situation. If you cannot talk to your parents then talk to a school counselor.

I agree with TitoBob. If your teacher insists on your coming alone, speak to the principal and your parents.

oh boy. i had that happen to me last year in freshman year. ughhh. yuck. he kept looking at me and w/e. but this isn't supposed to be about me and my stories.
anyway, you should just go anyway. it will show responsibility and it will show your teacher that you want to do the work even if you don't really want to.
