I have a passion for both subjects, but I can't do a double major since I also want to take French as a minor (I'm not about to do double major and a minor). I've decided I can handle one major and two minors, so it's sort of like doing a double major thing. Can someone give me some good reasons why I should take either sociology or philosophy as a major, aside from the fact that majoring in philosophy might not provide me as much job opportunities as sociology? I don't care how much more money either major can get me. I love them both equally so I need some pros and/or cons to help me decide.

can someone tell me how to work this?!
EXAMPLE: tests are worth 70% of my current grade.
daily work[homework, quizzes, class work] is worth 30%.
My grade in geometry is a 74!
We have a TEST next monday.
What would my grade be then if i were to get at least a 90 on the test?[70%]
Also, what would it be if i just got a 100 on something daily? [30%]
what would they be? [2 different answers]
how would i calculate it?

I'm in 10th Grade, so I hve a nice amount of time to think about it, but I have been looking at colleges and cannot decide. I would like to major in music (most likely edu.) and I play Flute, piccolo, some piano and i'm learning French horn and mellophone. I march in my high school band. I would like to go to college in GA, so I can use the HOPE scholarship, although i'm pretty much capable of going out of state. Last time I checked I was at a flute level of Grade 5 (If i'm correct) NFA standards, that is. I would pass out, cry and kiss everybody around me if I was allowed to go to Juilliard or Curtis. Any advice or reccomended GA colleges? Thanks!

i live in jersey city,nj my father makes less than 35,000

can i get into dartmouth university? or how can i improve?

i have a 3.4 gpa unweighted so far from freshman and sophmore(honors math)

this year( junior)-honors english and ap histroy

by next year 3p (math, history, english) reaching for 4.0 gpa

my electives are independent studies, and web design.

sports -varsity girl soccer, trying for softball

also in model un for 3 years and in school newspaper.
