- Remember that these AREN'T the best times of your life... you'll hardly remember them once you get out of high school! So don't take anything too serious, have fun, and don't do anything you might regret when you get a little older.
- Try to plan some for your future because time flies by fast and you want to accomplish a lot - the sooner you start the better!
- You have a long life to live and you will not cap out during your high school years... if you did, how depressing would that be for the rest of your life? Make some good memories and have as much fun as you can.
- Last thing... try not to hang out w/ losers. They may seem like fun at the time but they will eventually bring you down with them. Trust your instincts and do what you know to be the right thing, even if other people don't like it. This builds character and you want to be your own person!

first of all you are 15 or 16 years old. You should not have to make career decisions . You are just a little kid. But, sorry, our society says it is time for you to grow up. Our society is WRONG. But, you and I dont control the rules of society so we must conform to someone elses wishes. So.... you must decide RIGHT NOW what you want to do for the rest of your life. I realize it was only a few years ago that you learned how to ride a bike and you are a long way from having your first drink and many other firsts but GEORGE says it is time to decide NOW and GEORGE is the boss. These are NOT the best years of your life. These years S U C K . Good luck with the remaining high school years and concentrate on having a good time. Dont stress over the dictates of society. Get into a good school and decide on your major later.

Yes they are, as you will see further down the road. Make them memorable by participating in those things which interest you and are fun. Go out for sports, be a cheerleader, join a club or the school newspaper, get on the year-book committee, run for class president, get on the debate team, go to their dances and proms...anything they offer really. You'll have some fabulous memories and you'll learn so much more about yourself and the people around you that you can use in later life. Good luck!

Try to balance your work load with having some good time off for fun. You do have to make the most of learning to get the best results you can as you wont get another opportunity to do so but also you need time out to enjoy, relax and make friends. I would suggest you make one day for fun and the rest to make sure that all assignments are met and study is carried out. Dont think about sex etc. these things can get you into more trouble than they are worth. There is nothing better than saving yourself for someone you really care about and casual sex is just that and can lead places you dont want to go. The same goes for alcohol and drugs. Alcohol is alright in moderation but some people have additive personalities and once bitten too bad.

That is the biggest crock of misconceptions. If you don't buckle under to study and do your homework and turn in all your assignments then there is hardly any type of a future career open to you, especially if you are hell bent on making things "memorable". Being responsible is the key!
The minute that you stop thinking is when the problems will start. Use your brain and keep saying no to all the harebrained ideas for partying.

High school years are not the best years of your life. College is. In high school you still live with your parents, you can't do what you want, and you are still a minor. In college, you find out who you are! You can make your own choices about everything and you don't have to answer to anyone. Just get through high school with good enough grades that you can go away to college somewhere. And then---live it up!! Try everything, and don't let anything pass you by!! You won't remember things you missed in high school, but you sure will regret missing out on things in college!! The best is yet to come my dear!!

Be involved in your class activities (Senior field trips etc.) either by just going to them or helping plan them (joining the senior class committee for example).
But above all, don't forget your schoolwork, especially in your Junior year. Colleges look at junior year the most. Not working hard in high school is something that I regret.

Have fun! But make sure it doesn't get too out of control to the point where your grades start to drop. Go to prom with a large group of friends, kick back, party, hang out, do senior ditch day! Hope this helps!

Get laid. Go out and mess around, maybe get in a little trouble with the police, not too much of course that you'll mess up colleges. Find a new hobby. Start making friends with people who are going to the same college as you.
