Go for it! If you don't continue your education, you will regret it later on.

You're looking at a long term goal 7 years away.

First thing to do is to clarify your thinking set out in writing your business plan of how you will get to where you want to be 7 years time.

Set out costs to get you there in money, in time, and any other costs you can define.

How will you pay your study costs ?

How many years will this be full time study ?

How many years part time study ?

IF study part time what employment will assist you in your study activities and how ?

Remember that any employment is easier to find if you are already employed, doing anything...

Look at alternates :

The costs from remaining at your parents house ?

The costs from leaving your parents house to live in student accomodation ?

The costs from leaving your parents house to live elsewhere ?

Single occupant or shared ?

Even examine paths which look ridiculous at first glance !

continue your education, sacrifice first and reap the rewards later in life. it always pays off well. Education is something no one can steal away from you. focus on it and keep it up.

I think you should stick with what you are doing for the time being. If psychology is what you want to do you should do it. You should never ever give up your dreams. 'If there is a will there is way'
