can someone tell me how to work this?!
EXAMPLE: tests are worth 70% of my current grade.
daily work[homework, quizzes, class work] is worth 30%.
My grade in geometry is a 74!
We have a TEST next monday.
What would my grade be then if i were to get at least a 90 on the test?[70%]
Also, what would it be if i just got a 100 on something daily? [30%]
what would they be? [2 different answers]
how would i calculate it?

well for the 30%, since you have a 100, you automatically get 30 points towards your total grade.

if you got a 90 + 74 on quizzes, thats 164 out of 200, or 82%
82% of 70 (.82 x 70) equals 57..

so your total grade is 30+57, an 87

if you got a 100 on the next quiz...
174/200 is 87, .87 x 70 is 61, so your total grade would be 91!!!

good luck and i hope you get a 100!!!!

I'm assuming the 74 is all from homework...

If you get 90 on the test: 90*0.7 + 74*0.3 = 85.2%

For your second question, you would calculate it the same way, except with whatever you think you will get on the test.
