Welcome to the public school system.
They feel they have to dummy it down for the students that are not there to learn anyway.

Its funny that you don't know when to use 'too' rather than 'to'. Your spelling and grammer is the furthest thing from college level. If you want harder work, finish the work a good length of time prior to the due date and tell them that you don't feel pushed enough. If they don't respond to this go above your teachers and see the head of year/principle with your parents. But I do think you are over-rating yourself believing that you are able to work at a college level, this is probably why your teachers are less than willing to listen to your wishes. Make them realistic and just ask for harder work.

It's not too soon to start building a broader vocabulary. You might want to get a vocabulary builder at a bookstore or borrow one from a library.

When I took the practice-GRE, I ran across words I didn't recall encountering. There are products like Verbal Advantage, but even reading the dictionary is helpful.

Or it might be a good time to read all the "________ for Dummies" books to help you get a better idea of what sorts of jobs or careers you might find most fulfilling.

Whatever the case, good luck.

Did you take any honors classes. You should have. Go to guidance and tell them your not being challenged. If you get above 95s in all your classes they might put you in some advanced or accelerated programs but it might be to late.

I find it hard to believe you're getting perfect grades; your spelling and grammar are atrocious!
