In reference to "PS" as in something you would put at the bottom of a letter or blog entry, etc after you have already signed off and summed up your previous wording.

I've heard it has something to do with "post script" however I was also told that was a military reference or a type of printer depending who you talk to. If in fact that is the words behind ps, how did we come to use it from the military? I attempted looking much of this up myself but majority of what I found related to PlayStations & Palestine!

This question has to do with the classification of degrees awarded in the UK. I need to know if, having been rated within the 10% of the best students of my undergraduate class, having obtained a GPA of 4.3/5.0, and given the fact that the best student of my class got 4.6/5.0, my undergraduate degree can be considered in the UK as a honour degree, and of what kind, i.e., as a first degree honour, upper second degree honour, or third degree honour.

It must be taken into account that, during my studies of five years, I was the best student for three times, and that I was also given academic distintions for 2 years, and that I was awarded a scholarship for the last semester, out of three, of a graduate program I studied, because I was the best student, out of 40 people. Finally, I was also awarded a scholarship to study at another university, before entering the university I chose, in which I was rated as the 15, out of 2000 applicants, and out of 100 admitted applicants.

I have been on active duty in the military for almost ten years now. I am planning on going into the reserves. I completed a Liberal Arts Bachelors Degree and graduated with a 3.29gpa. I was thinking about going back to school to get a more specialized Bachelors Degree (like accounting), but a friend suggested I look at going back to school to get my MBA. If I were to do this, does it matter that I have a Bachelors in Liberal Arts? I do have two AA degrees, one in Merchandise Management and the other in Photography. What type of jobs would I be able to get with an MBA? Would it be better just to go back to school for a more specialized Bachelors Degree? Thanks for your help.

My 7 year old son is in second grade and a fellow classmate was pushing him out of line when they were lining up. My son pushed him back and the kid slap him in the back of the neck and left a hand print. The hand print was still there this morning. Although my son should have not pushed him (he can be aggressive if he needs to be) I think that it is out of line for my son to have a hand print on his neck almost 24 hours later. The school called the other childs parents and did an action plan with him. Do you think that is enough? Should I leave it alone?

my chem professor asked me to come and see him in his office after class. i knock and go in but he locks the door behind me. i thought that was a lil weird but i didnt say anything..he starts talking about my late assignment and tells me to strip down to my underwear for my punishment!!! i just stood there really shocked he said if i didnt do it then he was going to fail me. i had no choice so i did it. he put me over his lap and spanked me really hard 10 times. i had to count them and say "im a bad girl" all the time he was doing it. after he finished i got dressed and he said "you can go now" i keep thinking about it..was it wrong of him to do this to me?

I came across this phrase while looking for meanings of the word "Tenor". But this legal phrase ""The exact meaning or actual wording of a document as distinct from its effect", sounds confusing. Please give an example to fully clarify this legalese!
