The answer is Germany and the US. The UK was the industrial leader in the first half of the 19th century.

However, in the late 1800s (from about 1860 onwards) there was a new phase in the revolution sometimes even called the second industrial revolution. Industries based on mass production, electricity, chemicals, petroleum (due to the internal combustion engine replacing the steam engine) and steel became important. The UK lagged behind as it's industry remained with the heavy industries based on wrought iron, the steam engine and textiles. Instead the two countries that took the lead in industry were Germany and the US. By the end of the century both had overtake Britain.
