...go back to school ? I am considering going back school (University) to pursue a teaching licensure in Elementary Education. I'm not really intimdated by going back itself, but rather the fact that I'll be 42 upon completion of Bachelors/Licensure, and that my age will be a mark against me in the initial hiring process..??.. Is this a good investment of considerable time and money ?

Ok, Im a chemical engineering major that will be transferring from a C.C. to either one of these two universities. I have always wanted to attend UCLA but its too heavily populated. I also always wanted to see other parts of the U.S. and USF would allow me to do that.

If you were in my situation, which one would you choose and why?

Ok, I found out that USF has a 5 year program for chemical engineering undergrads, this means that after senior year, I take graduate level courses for a year which the advantage is that the courses are double counted and after Im done with that, I have a Masters, UCLA has no program like that.

Obvious USF has the better program, but UCLA is an excellent school also.

If in my situation, would you go to USF?

I am finishing my undergrad in special education with one year left. I will graduate in 2008. Now I have had a change of heart with what I want to do for the future. I still want to teach, however I am thinking about going straight into law school after I graduate. Now things that I have to think about are the fact that I am a single mother of a six year old, I have very little money to live off of. These are only some things that come up, for anyone who can understand, to you think that it would be feasible for me to try to get into law school right after I gruaduate, would I still be able to be a sufficient mother? Will I be able to pick up a job on the side while I am in school. Are their loans available for me to take out to pay for going to law school. What tests would I have to take before getting in. My GPA is 3.26 now, is that too low? How long are typical programs in years? I just have a lot of questions-=--any ideas or suggestions?

There is virtually no information on the "Greenie beanie". a plastic bowl shaped hat with a flat surface on top a little larger than a silver dollar that came out around 1966. The grass seeds in the flat surface would be watered and - alas.. grass would grow out of it and you would wear it on your head!

Or how about those colered fizzie tablets? (i.,e purple was grape flavored, yellow was lemon)

My assignment for a technical writing class is to "find a set of instructions or procedures that you is poorly written, critique it, and rewrite it." Off the top of my head, I can't think of any instructions or procedures that I have recently seen which are poorly written. Can any of you recommend a site that gives bad or poorly written instructions or procedures?

I work full time and there are no schools close by that offer a PhD in nutrition. I am a registered dietitian who went to school at the university of pittsburgh for 6 years obtaining first a BS in clinical dietetics and nutrition then getting a MS in exercise physiology. Nutrition is my passion and I would like a PhD in nutrition but there are no schools that offer it around Pittsburgh. I work full time so I need online courses. Do you think on-line degrees are good and will it help advance my career? What schools have PhD in nutrition? I checked google but it is taking forever? Anyone have an online nutrition degree? Has it helped you professionally?

I'm a high School Senior right now, thinking about going to law school. The problem is I have absolutely no money for college cause my dad isn't going to pay jack for my schooling, let alone graduate school. So if I attend a public school (A suny or cuny in my case), and then a private law school will I be able to pay off my debt within a few years after I finish law school?
