For my science fair project I was rusting non-galvanised steel nails in different concentrations of salt water solutions. The nail with the least salt in the water rusted faster than some of the other nails. Why did this happen?

My daughter checked the disbursemnet of her Stafford at NSLDS for last school year and found a loan had been disbursed to another college that she never attended. We called the current servicer of this loan and they said they had no record of it.They suggested calling the current lender. We'll have to wait until Monday to contact the lender. My question is-has anyone else had this problem? Are goofs like this common with Stafford loans?

Well, I'm in college and so far I've freaking failed 1 course and gotten a barely passing (i.e. D or D+) in 3 classes, and I don't know what is wrong with me. I feel like such a failure at this point I don't even want to go on. I honestly attend class regularly, I missed maybe 5 the whole semester. I take notes, I do some of the reading, and yet I fail. My biggest problem I think is when I do reading/review notes I get SO bored I just start falling asleep. It's like taking a sleeping pill. I will read a section 3 times and not be able to comprehend anything it said. Not an exaggeration. I don't know what to do to get my brain to remember the material! It's like it's scrambled in my brain. Suggestions at all would be GREATLY appreciated, as I don't even know if college is worth it if I'm just going to keep failing like an idiot.

Oh, also I don't party or anything like that I swear on my life that I try to study it just doesn't seem to sink in. And I don't do drugs or drink.

6-Now that I've bet all that I have on you...

Love is always acceptable, no matter what kind it is. If you click on Arts & Humanities/Poetry, you'll be amazed. But it won't give you much of a clue.

In the above paragraph-type thing, is it acceptable to use 'but' to begin a whole separate sentence? I mean, in school, they stressed that it was incorrect to begin a sentence with a conjunction. But I use them a lot to begin sentences. And I've even seen them in great literary works. So what is the verdict?

I am planning to go to Spain to improve my Spanish. I haven,t been there but I want to go to Barcelona. Even if I heard that Barcelona is not the right place to practice Spanish, my friends adviced this city. So I found two schools one is Enforex Langauge School and the other one is University of Barcelona. Have you ever heard anything about these two places or do you have other recommendations? Or shpuld I go to Madrid or any other City?
