Iam trying to upload my c.v to apply for a new job and it keep's saying this...

The CV you have uploaded either is not a word / PDF / plain text / rich text file, or is larger than 250kB.

Please convert your CV to the required format and size. Ensure that it has a .doc, .pdf, .rtf or .txt file extension, and that it is less than 250kB in size.

Can any one help me with this please.

One method that I've just tried (a few minutes ago) was to download CutePDF Writer from http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp

Once you install the program it takes you to an explanation page (on your own hard drive), but if that doesn't work for you, here's a precis of what you're supposed to do to get it to work.

You open whatever document you wish to convert to pdf format in Word. Click on File > Print and select CutePDF. This will then take you to the dialog where you decide where to save this document.

I only tried it with a small file, but it condensed that down by about a third, so I guess with your CV it will pretty much do the same.

Do you want to convert it to PDF?? If so, look on Google for the "Adobe PDF Printer download" and download it (be careful of the website :D).

Then, once you've dowloaded it, go to Microsoft Word (or equivalent) and click print. Then, change the Printer (at the top) to PDF Creator and click Print. This will convert it to PDF (Portable Document File) and then you can attach it to emails as normal!

Good luck with your job! :)
